As an existing customer of Society+ , I jumped at the opportunity to do a review for them.
One of the things I love about Society+ is their attention to detail – they measure each of their garments before sizing to their own size chart which means there is less risk of disappointment when it arrives in their customers hands.
Additionally, Society+ appears to really value their international customers, another tick in the box for those of us outside of the US! There are often sales for NZ/Australian customers as well as international shipping discounts or free shipping which is reasonably uncommon.
I chose three items that I knew I could layer up for winter, as well as enjoy in the warmer months. I’ve mentioned before that Auckland’s winter is pretty mild, so taking what could be a summer/spring item and repurposing it for winter is important to get the most out of my wardrobe.
A soft jersey swing dress with cut out details which evokes (at least for me) a very 60s vibe. I am wearing the size 14-16 in charcoal. This style is available in a variety of colours (chocolate brown, moss green, red, turquoise) up to a US20.
A grecian style wrap dress in a rich berry colour, also available in purple and up to an awesome US size 32. Again I am in the 14-16. This dress drapes so beautifully, and comes with it’s own fabric and gold metal belt. I swapped for a plain black slider belt because I like the added structure.
Soft stretch bodycon in grey stripes also available in red and taupe, up to a US20. This dress is made from a light sweater material making it easy to incorporate into my winter wardrobe. As usual I am wearing it with a normal bra, with the straps just pushed over a little. This dress is SUPER stretchy and I think if you were considering a bodycon dress for the first time, this would be a great choice
